Critical skills work Permits
The critical skills work permit is obtained based on in demand occupations in South Africa that are listed on the government gazette critical skill list. This visa can be issued for a period of 5 years and is renewable with in South Africa.

Student Visas
The student visa, one can apply for this visa only if they have been accepted and enrolled at a recognized and registered South African learning institution, it validity is based on the duration of study given my the learning facility or Institute.
Spousal visa
The Spousal visa allow only for Spouses or life partners of South African citizens or Permanent resident holders, in the case of a life partner one is required to provide evidence of relationship for over 2 years and in the case of marriage a marriage certificate and additional supporting documents, Spouse has the option of applying for an added working rights to spousal visa should they have a job offer in South Africa.
retired person visa
This visa allow one to retire in South Africa, though you are required to show proof of retired through means of investment, retirement funds and pension funds for the minimum amount of R37 000 for each month of the 3 months required proof of funds
Relatives visa
This visa is issued to Spouses, children, and direct family dependents of South African citizens or Permanent Resident holders, in the case of life partner evidence of 2 years relationship is required, this visa does not permit work or study in South Africa.
Visit visa
This visa is applicable for foreigner wishing to visit South Africa coming from a non-visa exempt country meaning they will need to apply for a visa, whereas visa exempt countries will permit a foreigner to enter South Africa and will be issued a duration of 30 to 90 days to stay on visit, they are able to apply for a visit visa extension within South Africa. One is required to show intent on returning to their country of residence when applying for a visit visa.
